This is the yacht in which we shall be crossing the Atlantic next summer. This is how it was when we found it abandoned on a beach. It has now been extensively refitted as shown in the next photograph.
On a closer view you can see that the refit has been extensive. Not only has it been fitted with accomodation and navigation equipment, but the oars have been replaced with twin diesel engines.
You can just about see the orange hull of the yacht in the middle of the picture. It is leaving harbour. This trip was the final stage of the sea-trials before we crossed the Atlantic.
